Continuing a Legacy of Compassion and Care

We are more than just an organization; it is a legacy born out of compassion and a deep-rooted desire to help others. Founded in honor of Judith Jackson Mbwille, our nonprofit is inspired by her life and her commitment to making a difference in the world. Judith's journey from her humble beginnings in Tanzania to her work in Metro Detroit is a testament to her dedication to improving the lives of those around her, serving as a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who knew her.

Born in 1948, Judith excelled in her professional life, rising to the rank of supervisor at the National Bank of Commerce. Her career took her to various places in Tanzania, where she touched the lives of many through her work. Judith's passion for helping others extended beyond her professional life; she had a deep love for music and gospel, and she enjoyed watching TV. Tragically, Judith passed away in 2020, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and a vision for a better future.

Today, Judith's daughter, Dr. Jacqueline Mbwille, continues her mother's legacy through Jsouls Nonprofit Corporation. Officially established as a 501c3 status corporation in 2021, Jsouls is dedicated to supporting communities in need in Metro Detroit and Tanzania. Through our work, we strive to honor Judith's memory by continuing her mission of compassion and care.
